He began his career as an Employee Benefits specialist with Safeco. He also was part owner, developer and manager of the Employee Benefits department of a large Property Casualty agency.

Flex Benefits and Administration was formed in 1986 to specialize in group insurance consultation, implementation and administration of Medical Reimbursement plans. The company is an administrative, marketing and technical resource, assisting employers and tax consultants in developing tax saving employee benefit plans.
